Güzel İzmir is a visualization project that presents geographic and statistical information from the İzmir Open Data Portal (https://acikveri.bizizmir.com/) on an interactive map. Explore thematic layers to discover useful information and important locations, and understand the city visually and analytically.
The initial release includes disaster and emergency assembly areas, ancient cities and structures, vehicle inspection stations, mansions, towers, monuments and statues, libraries, neighborhood offices, museums, beaches, Blue Flag beaches, neighborhood markets, taxi stands, historic buildings and WizmirNET free Wi-Fi hotspots. Future plans include additional datasets such as pharmacies on duty, as well as recent earthquakes and city cameras independently of the İzmir Open Data Portal.
